GARDEN DESIGN

INTERNATIONAL GARDEN DESIGN

We welcome the opportunity to design gardens internationally!

What is done first? Get ideas!

These and other questions can be answered through our Design Service. We can help you place all of you needs in the right order. Our service is such that we help the gardener with designs that can be accomplished over time as the gardener has the time and money. We don’t replace the Licensed Landscape Architect but help you decide on styles, realistic plant choices, and ideas.

The projects can be done be the gardener or they can be detailed and discussed further with your Licensed Landscape Architect [LLA]. Only a LLA is qualified to design hardscape, drainage, building structures, etc. and work with the legal aspects of permits, etc.

Our Design Service assists you with “WHERE DO I BEGIN?” and ideas. We design using native plants, as well as, other ornamentals, and can give you designs for gardens that do not require an LLA.

You can contact us for more information and our fees– we are reasonable as we are gardeners ourselves!  TO begin on this by yourself, you need to first GET IDEAS!

Where to get ideas for your garden design and plants.

You can get ideas from a National Botanical Gardens, magazines, and other media. Visiting gardens in your area is the best because the plants seen there are closer to what you can grow in your soil and climate. By visiting in person you can see some plants at their ultimate size, smell fragrances, and make a plant list for your self.

When you view the magazines, books at the library, and other media, you can look up the characteristics of the plants on your list, find the good and bad points, and decide if this plant should stay or be removed form your list.

We have many ideas  and can assist you if you want to skip this step.

CONTACT US AND WE WILL TELL YOU WHAT DATA TO SEND US AND THE FORMAT TO SEND IT IN FOR PICTURES.
