Text Box: NOV.6, 2005-ESKIE’S FALL STORY:

We love our veggies and fruit! We have them every day for snacks. Of course, we also get good kibble, too, but Mommy wants us to have fresh stuff. Sometimes we get a salad of carrots, lettuce, celery, cucumbers, or peppers but never any onions! Mommy puts a swizzle of salad dressing on it , too.  [1 teaspoon]

We get to pick out which one of the dressings we want-French, blue cheese, ranch, Italian-yummmmmmmmy!

Tomatoes and carrots are our favorites but we like most  of them -radishes especially! Broccoli is so good in the salad, too! We also get fruit [never grapes or raisins] each day.  Apples, pears, or a fruit salad that Mommy makes up.  Some of the fruits in the salad are bananas [can’t have too much of these], blueberries, and strawberries with a swizzle of cool whip! Our Vet’s 2 dogs like strawberries the best but we like blueberries even better!

Wow! This is dog heaven!  Mommy sees that we also eat grass and crab grass outside so she knows that if we were on our own, that we would probably pick the fruits and veggies to eat outside, too. And—- guess what? Mommy found that with the fruits and veggies, we don’t get gas-ever! Isn’t that  interesting? Do you think that more furkids should eat fresh stuff like us?

NEWS-FALL 2006

CORKY HURT HIS FOOT!

October 23, 2006

Corky was licking his foot over the past month. After several trips to the vet for soreness, allergies, and trying to find out why his foot bothered him, we just noticed a lump on top of his foot last night.

Off he went to the vet’s again and had the lump removed and one stitch put in. The lump will be tested and checked for cancer to be sure all is okay.

The vet said that it looks okay so we don’t expect any further problems. We are praying for Corky’s quick recovery so that he can get back to playing ball!

Nov. 1. 2006

Corky is better now and his cancer test came back today-BENIGN! We are thanking God that He has healed Corky!

PLAY BALL!
